LOOP

This is what you use for blowing huge single bubbles. They can be up to 7m in length.
They can vary in size fron 0.5 to 2m.
You require 2 long bamboo, dowelling or plastic rods about 10mm diameter and 1 to 3m in length.
Plus 5 to 15m of cotton string. Length depends on length of rod.
Also a brass(Steel rusts) or plastic washer to help keep the loop straight when being dipped.
As an example for 1m rods take about 5m of cotton string and thread it through the washer. Now tie the ends together
About 5cm from this knot form a loop and tie another knot.
About 1m from this knot form another loop and tie a further knot.
You should now have a line with a loop at either end and a longer loop with the washer hanging below it.
Make a notch in the end of each of your rods. Put a short loop over each one and fix in place with an end cap
By holding the rods apart you should now have a triangle of string with the washer at the bottom.

Bring the tips of the rods together and let the washer dip in too your liquid. Lift them together slowly and allow any excess liquid to drain.
Hold them up to the wind and move the rods appart, once a bubble has formed bring the rods together again to close the bubble.
If there is no wind walk backwards slowly being carefull not to trip over your container or even just wave the rods around to produce the required bubble.
By opening and closing the rods you should be able to produce several bubbles without having to re-dip the rods
