A BUBBLE STORM.

Page under construction

Rather than blow just one large bubble at a time this gives a storm of smaller bubbles all at one go.
It uses a net that is dipped in the liquid and held up to the wind or waved on the end of a pole.
I use a cotton net with about 5cm mesh such as this.
By cutting it in to 3 pieces you can make several each of which will give a terrific storm.
The other usefull bit is a couple of sections from a roach pole where you have split the bottom or top sections.
First hold your net up and see which way you have to have it so that it opens naturally when stretched.
Fit a number of 25mm split rings equally spaced along this edge but not at one end.(I use 4 rings)
On the narrow end of your pole fit an end cap and if it is very thin a stopper to stop it passing back through the mesh.
Feed the pole through the split rings and secure the last mesh close to the end stop with a cable tie.
Now tie a line to the first split ring and cut it slightly longer than the fully extended pole and secure it here.

By tipping the pole forward the net should fold up so that it can be dipped in the mixture,

then lifted out and by pulling the string the mesh can be opened and held up to the wind. Just wait for the "Oooos"

I have now replaced the "end-cap" with a golf ball. This stops the pole getting tangled in the net and is useful to push the net in to the liquid when it is getting low

These are just my guide lines and I am sure you will be able to come up with your own improvements.

A nice video by Nigel Goodswen, showing the net in action at Jolly Up 21 can be seen here
